Some pieces are decor. This one is an installation.

At 72 inches long and 3.75 inches wide, the Grande Ombré Agate Garland is our most ambitious design — a full floor-to-ceiling color journey through 18–19 hand-selected Brazilian agate slices, moving from dramatic darkness at the top to warm, luminous cream at the bottom. Every slice was chosen for how it reads in sequence, not just individually. The result is a piece that rewards looking at it from across the room and up close.

The color flow moves through moody black and rich brown, into charcoal and light gray, through deep blue and dark teal, into light-filled sage green and natural, then warm tan and light brown, through deep red-amber and burnt orange, into gold and yellow, and finally to soft cream — finished with a silk tassel. It is one of the most complete color stories we have ever put into a single piece.

This is a customer collaboration. After purchase I'll work with you directly to refine the color flow, tassel color, and any details specific to your wall before I begin building. A full mock-up photo is provided for your approval, followed by a final completion photo before shipping.

      WHERE IT WORKS
A stairwell, entryway, or any wall with the vertical real estate to let 72 inches breathe. This piece needs height and space — and rewards both generously. The full ombré spectrum works against warm white, cream, or light gray walls where each color transition registers cleanly.

      THE DETAILS

      • 72" long x 3.75" wide
      • 18–19 genuine Brazilian agate slices, hand-selected for color, banding, and translucency
      • Mini wooden oval accent pieces between each slice for structural integrity and visual rhythm
      • Matte black leather cording
      • Macramé-style round wooden hanger at top
      • Choose your tassel color or upgrade to gold metal barrel bells — select at checkout
      • Brass drywall hardware included
      • Heavy duty aluminum nail-style tack with long tooth and wide head included
      • This is a substantial, heavy piece — we recommend hanging with two people
      • Care: dust gently with a soft cotton cloth — no sprays or liquids on the slices
      • Made to order — please allow 7–10 business days before shipping
      • Ships from our studio in Oconomowoc, WI
      • Free domestic shipping
      • Returns accepted only for items damaged in transit

      THE DESIGNER BEHIND IT
I'm Jessica Cortes — an interior designer for 14 years before founding Mod North & Co. in 2016. Since then, I've handcrafted and shipped over 10,000 pieces, and I'm proud to say Mod North & Co. helped start the agate garland category on Etsy. Our work was carried by Anthropologie from 2019–2023, and the Rosie Garland was named a Drew Barrymore May 2024 Etsy Must-Have.

The Grande Ombré is the piece I make when someone wants something truly significant on their wall. Every slice placement is considered. Every color transition is deliberate. This is not a garland you buy and forget — it's one you live with and keep noticing.

Because each agate slice is natural stone, no two Grande Ombré garlands are ever quite identical — which means yours will be one of a kind.

Because each piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind, returns and exchanges are generally not accepted. Please carefully review all photos, descriptions, and dimensions before completing your purchase.

If you have questions before purchasing, we’re happy to help—reach out for additional photos or even a video demo to assist in your decision.

In unique circumstances, a return may be granted upon review. In such cases:

      • A 15% restocking fee applies, based on the original item cost.

      • Original shipping fees are non-refundable, as they are paid directly to USPS.

⚠️ Important: Please do not send items back without prior approval. Unauthorized or “forced returns” will not be accepted and will be returned to sender unopened. All return arrangements must be confirmed via email.

60" Long Natural to Gray to Red to Brown Ombré Agate Garland — Vertical Statement Piece

At 60 inches, this is our longest standard garland — a floor-to-near-ceiling statement piece that flows from warm naturals through cool gray into rich red and deep brown. The full ombré gradient at this length creates a visual journey that shorter garlands simply can't achieve. Made to order so each piece is built specifically for you.

      WHERE IT WORKS:
A stairwell, high-ceilinged entryway, or any wall with the vertical real estate to let all 60 inches read. Above a fireplace or in a room with dramatic ceiling height. The natural-gray-red-brown palette is warm and grounded, pairing naturally with walnut, aged brass, cream, and both warm and dark wall colors.

      THE DETAILS:

      • Approx. 60" long — custom made to order
      • Genuine Brazilian agate slices in natural, gray, red, and brown ombré gradient
      • Leather cording, silk tassel, wood hanger
      • Brass drywall hardware included
      • Please allow 5–7 business days before shipping — mockup photo included before build
      • Free domestic shipping from our studio in Oconomowoc, WI
      • Returns accepted only for items damaged in transit

Since then, I've handcrafted and shipped over 10,000 pieces, and I'm proud to say Mod North & Co. helped start the agate garland category on Etsy. From 2019–2023, my agate clocks were also sold as a vendor line through Anthropologie.

Every piece is still made the way I'd specify it for a design client: with an eye toward proportion, tone, and how it actually reads on your wall.

Because each agate slice is natural stone, no two garlands are ever quite identical.

Beautifully crafted and matches my space perfectly - I love it! I asked for a custom-length natural agate garland and Jessica was wonderful to work with. She was super friendly and quick to respond. And she made sure to understand what I wanted, that the stones fit the colors in my dining room, and that I could sign off on it before the order was fulfilled. I can fully recommend it!

48" Warm Glow Agate Wall Hanging — 11 Slice Natural Garland

Warm naturals, soft ambers, and cream tones flowing through 11 genuine Brazilian agate slices — our most understated 48" garland. The Warm Glow palette is deliberately quiet, designed for rooms that want the scale of a statement piece without a strong color commitment. At 48 inches, it anchors a wall with warmth rather than drama.

      WHERE IT WORKS:
Above a sofa, bed, or console table. In a stairwell or entryway. The warm natural-amber-cream palette pairs with virtually everything — walnut, white oak, brass, cream, linen, warm white walls. Works in any interior style that favors natural materials.

      THE DETAILS:

      • 11 genuine Brazilian agate slices in warm natural, amber, and cream tones
      • Approx. 48" long
      • Leather cording, silk tassel, wood hanger
      • Brass drywall hardware included
      • Please allow 3–5 business days before shipping
      • Free domestic shipping from our studio in Oconomowoc, WI
      • Returns accepted only for items damaged in transit

      THE DESIGNER BEHIND IT:
I'm Jessica Cortes — an interior designer for 14 years before founding Mod North & Co. in 2016. Since then, I've handcrafted and shipped over 10,000 pieces, and I'm proud to say Mod North & Co. helped start the agate garland category on Etsy.

48" Eimyrja Agate Wall Hanging — 11 Slice Brown & Amber Garland

Named after a Scandi term for warmth and glow, the Eimyrja is our most Japandi-inspired 48" garland — rich brown, warm amber, and natural tones that flow through 11 genuine Brazilian agate slices with a Scandinavian restraint. Long enough to anchor a room, quiet enough to let the stone do the talking.

      WHERE IT WORKS:
Above a sofa, bed, or console table. In a stairwell or entryway. The warm brown-amber-natural palette pairs with walnut, white oak, cream, linen, and warm white walls in Japandi, Scandi, transitional, or organic modern interiors. A strong fit for anyone who wants the Warm Glow palette with slightly more depth.

      THE DETAILS:

      • 11 genuine Brazilian agate slices in warm brown and amber tones
      • Approx. 48" long
      • Leather cording, silk tassel, wood hanger

This Blue Ombré Garland is a study in gradation — soft teal at the top moving into rich blue, then settling into warm natural tones and finishing in gray at the base. Each genuine Brazilian agate slice was hand-selected for how it reads within the sequence, connected with delicate hardware and finished with an ivory silk tassel. Because the stone is entirely natural, no two garlands are ever quite the same — there are only two of this exact piece, and each is one of a kind. Once they're gone, this particular color story won't be recreated.

This is a narrower, more sculptural piece than our wider Uma wall hangings — designed to draw the eye vertically and add quiet movement to a wall.

PAIRS WITH: This piece is designed to anchor a narrow wall — beside a doorway or window, in a stairwell, or as a pair flanking a mirror or piece of furniture.

      WHERE IT WORKS:
The vertical drop makes this a natural fit for tight wall spaces that a wider piece wouldn't suit — a narrow entryway wall, beside a bed in place of a sconce, or in a stairwell where you want visual interest without bulk. The tonal gradient reads beautifully against both light and warm-toned walls.

      THE DETAILS:

      • 42"L x 3.5"W x 1" wall projection
      • Genuine Brazilian agate slices in teal, blue, natural, and gray tones
      • Ivory silk tassel
      • One of a kind — only two exist, available in Style A or Style B
      • Brass hanging hardware for drywall included
      • Care instructions: dust with a clean cotton cloth
      • Ready to ship

      THE DESIGNER BEHIND IT:
Mod North & Co. is designed by an interior designer with 14 years of commercial design experience — which shows in the proportion and color-story thinking behind every piece. Over 10,000 pieces have shipped to homes across the country. Mod North originated the agate garland category on Etsy, was an Anthropologie vendor from 2019–2023, and was featured in Drew Barrymore's May 2024 Etsy Must-Haves.

        2. Ask nearby neighbors if the package was misdelivered.
        3. Contact your local post office and request the geo-coordinates of where the package was scanned.
      • If theft is suspected, filing a police report will help with the insurance claim process.
      • To prevent theft, we recommend adding Signature Verification, shipping to a PO Box, or sending to an alternate secure address.

      • The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
      • Original shipping fees are non-refundable, as they are paid directly to USPS.

⚠️ Important: Please do not send items back without prior approval. Unauthorized or “forced returns” will not be accepted and will be returned to sender unopened. All return arrangements must be confirmed via email.

48" Coastal Calm Agate Wall Hanging — 11 Slice Natural Garland

Cool natural tones, soft blues, and sea greens through 11 genuine Brazilian agate slices — a calm, coastal-leaning palette that brings the feeling of water without literal beach decor. At 48 inches, the Coastal Calm is a genuine wall anchor for rooms that want peace and depth.

      WHERE IT WORKS:
Above a sofa, bed, or console table in a bedroom, living room, or entryway. The cool natural-blue-green palette pairs with white oak, warm white walls, brass or silver accents, and natural linen. Works in coastal, transitional, or modern interiors.

      THE DETAILS:

      • 11 genuine Brazilian agate slices in cool natural, blue, and sea green tones
      • Approx. 48" long
      • Leather cording, silk tassel, wood hanger
      • Brass drywall hardware included
      • Please allow 3–5 business days before shipping
      • Free domestic shipping from our studio in Oconomowoc, WI
      • Returns accepted only for items damaged in transit

      THE DESIGNER BEHIND IT:
I'm Jessica Cortes — an interior designer for 14 years before founding Mod North & Co. in 2016. Since then, I've handcrafted and shipped over 10,000 pieces, and I'm proud to say Mod North & Co. helped start the agate garland category on Etsy.
