Rich Brown Agate Wall Art Set — 7-Piece Brazilian Agate Wall Installation

This is a DIY wall installation set. Each slice hangs individually on a nail tack that you place in your wall. Installation is simple — a hammer and 10 minutes is all you need — but this is not a pre-assembled piece. If you have questions before ordering, message us at jessica@modnorth.com.
Seven genuine Brazilian agate slices in deep espresso, warm chocolate, and rich brown tones, arranged in a graceful arc spanning approximately 28" wide. Each slice is 5.5"–6.75" across — substantially larger than the slices used in our garland line — with natural banding, translucency, and character unique to each piece.
This set has a story worth telling. For years, Mod North & Co. was known for handcrafted Brazilian agate clocks — we were even an Anthropologie vendor from 2019 to 2023. As wearable technology changed how people tell time, clock sales gradually slowed until we made the difficult decision to discontinue the line entirely. Rather than let our remaining inventory of beautiful, hand-selected Brazilian agate slices end up in a landfill, we found a new purpose for them: statement wall art. These slices were too good to waste — and honestly, we think they look even better on your wall than they ever did on a clock face.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:

- 7 aluminum nail-style tacks — everything you need to hang it just like the photo
Each tack features a long tooth that drives into drywall for a secure hold, and a long flat head that the agate slice rests on — no hooks, no wires, no complicated hardware. A standard hammer is all you need. Tap each tack into your wall at the angle shown, rest the slice on the head, and you're done. The whole installation takes about 10 minutes.
YOUR ARRANGEMENT, YOUR WAY:
The arc shown in one photo and the vertical column shown in another are both just suggestions — since each slice hangs independently on its own tack, you can arrange them however works best for your wall. Horizontal arc, vertical column, diagonal, asymmetric cluster, straight line — the choice is entirely yours. Several of our customers have used similar sets in luxury apartment installations, Airbnb living rooms, and above beds, all without issues. There's no wrong way to display natural art.

Above a console table, sofa, or bed. In an entryway or hallway. As a horizontal statement alternative to a vertical garland. The deep espresso and chocolate palette pairs naturally with walnut furniture, aged brass, cream or warm neutral walls, and matte black accents in transitional, moody, or modern organic spaces.

THE DESIGNER BEHIND IT:
I'm Jessica Cortes — an interior designer for 14 years before founding Mod North & Co. in 2016. Since then, I've handcrafted and shipped over 10,000 pieces, and I'm proud to say Mod North & Co. helped start both the agate garland and agate clock categories on Etsy. From 2019–2023, my agate clocks were sold as a vendor line through Anthropologie.
Every set is selected and arranged the way I'd specify materials for a design client: with an eye toward how the pieces relate to each other and how the full installation reads on your wall.
Because each agate slice is natural stone, no two sets are ever quite identical.
